Nicole’s special interests include working with women with substance use disorders, re-entry and previously incarcerated individuals, adults, alcohol use in the workplace, crisis situations, and correctional populations. She is a Substance Abuse Counselor through the University of Madison Flex Program and holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls.
Offering services out of our Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire locations, as well as in-office, community, and travel settings. Nicole brings a history of lived experience with substance use disorder and remains actively involved in the local recovery community. She strongly believes that every individual has the power to change the trajectory of their life. With a trauma-informed, harm reduction, and strengths-based approach, Nicole is skilled at meeting clients where they are. She creates a safe and supportive space with compassionate listening while also providing constructive feedback.
Nicole has extensive experience working with incarcerated individuals, including providing treatment services at the Chippewa Falls Correctional Treatment Facility. She also served as a service facilitator within Eau Claire County Comprehensive Community Services, furthering her commitment to helping individuals find stability and hope.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her two children, visiting local coffee shops, working out, hosting game nights or bonfires with friends, and exploring local restaurants.
